Watch Heroes TV Show Online

I’m really starting to get annoyed with the serious lack of action in this season of Heroes. Character development is nice, but come on! Too much is too much and the story needs to pick up the pace! We’re eight episodes in, now. While the story had quite a couple of opportunities for action, it fell short when problems were solved with words rather than fists.

Claire, who is absolutely determined to solve the Sorority Rush attacks on her own, finds H.R.G. trying to intervene as usual. He quickly realizes that he might very well be the cause of all of her troubles. Peter realizes that his latest ability makes him a perfect fit at his new job, and is able to help Emma with accepting her new life. Excitingly, Sylar is continuing the escalating battle to gain complete control over Matt’s body, risking very hazardous implications in the process.

Head for the hills, everyone! The infuriating, obviously foreign voiceover is back! Mohinder must have been relieved that this time the voice was overriding Samuel Sullivan. This was a gut wrenching omen to me, but I was pleasantly surprised when ‘Tabula Rasa’ managed to not drop into my instantly lowered expectations.

With the help of Samuel, Sylar begins his journey to rediscover who he really is. Hiro helps Emma to comprehend and accept the huge amount of potential that having abilities can give to you. Elsewhere, Peter convinces H.R.G. to assist him in finding a healer who will hopefully be able to save Hiro’s life.

‘Heroes’ makes great use of the old standby, ‘when in doubt, throw in some more lesbian scenes’. ‘Hysterical Blindness’ is proof that the more a series appeals to a large crowd, the more on track it is. Season 4 is much more on the mark than last season, and it has given us the best episode of the season so far! Everything from the perfect pacing and wonderful character development to the storytelling was incredible last Monday.

Samuel gets ready for the latest embellishments to his family, as Lydia informs him of the potential repercussions. Claire realizes that Gretchen, her roommate, might have an ulterior motive. Peter discovers an interesting way to bond with the ever-distant Emma. In the meantime, Sylar shows us a very different side as he longingly attempts to recapture the person he once was.

“Ink” was a great deal more like a fresh beginning. I thought that it was definitely a much more engaging episode (without depending too much on the previous clichés) than last week’s two episode disaster. It really seemed passably different enough from the previous season to seem new. That is, ALMOST. A major part of the difference was the focus on only a few storylines. I find that this is usually a big plus, and felt that “Ink” really made the most of it.

Unanticipated consequences befall Peter after his valiant actions; meantime, he meets a new, hesitant hero. After having her ability exposed, Claire must adjust to life at college. Heaven and earth shift before Samuel’s whim as he tries to recover his memories of Joseph, his deceased brother. Sylar returns inexplicably, as Matt must come to terms with his inner demons.
