Like most Americans, people with special powers also celebrate Thanksgiving. Don’t worry, though, their Thanksgivings are just a dramatic and chaotic as us regular folks’. In the episode aptly titled “Thanksgiving”, we get to celebrate three different character’s Thanksgivings. Two of the three stories were pretty unexceptional, with only a couple of juicy bits, while the third had massive potential and some truly great moments. Unfortunately, it simply didn’t deliver well.

A quick bit of advice – never screw with the space-time continuum. It simply does not ever do well. But our Hiro, determined to undo the death of his former love, attempts to alter the past without causing damage to the entire history of the world as they know it. As a summary, it sounds nice. A pure love story of love lost with the chance to redeem it.
I was excited about the Heroes season premiere, because I wasn’t entirely sure what to anticipate. This past summer had been so full of talk; Talk about additional characters, homosexuality, carnivals, and even Bryan Fuller leaving just as fast as he returned. I didn’t have a clue how any of it would piece together, and was disappointed to find myself faced with more of the same old stuff.
To keep Sylar from meeting the President, Nathan engages him in battle. Sylar has his personal plans for his latest associate. Sadly, Hiro discovers that there are draw backs to retrieving his power. When his future with his family is threatened, Matt must go to exceptional lengths to protect it.
Surprisingly, Sylar has an identity crisis as he continues strange partnership. Hiro and Ando plan to bring down Building 26. Not shockingly, Matt’s recently discovered fatherhood changes his priorities. Nathan sets out to right the wrongs of his government operation.
As Danko continues to head the government operation, someone special to him is put in jeopardy. With his life continuing to spin out of control, H.R.G.’s marriage is tested to the point of breaking. Hiro and Ando maintain their voyage with a very special delivery for Matt. Meanwhile, Angela rediscovers the demons of her past.
Sylar finds himself surprised when he reunites with his father, as the reunion isn’t at all what he expected it to be. After a heads up from Rebel, Claire is faced with a difficult decision; will she help Eric Doyle, her sworn enemy, elude capture? Matt discovers himself in the limelight and on the edge of leveling Capitol Hill while The Hunter makes plans to learn the Petrelli family’s secret goings on in order to steal away control of Nathan’s operation.
Nathan’s plans may be revealed after the President of the United States orders Homeland Security to carry out an investigation. Luke accompanies Sylar on his quest to find his father; unbeknownst to them, Nathan’s agents are close on their heels. The Bennet Family’s life gets pretty complicated when Claire takes actions to defend an ability-endowed young man from H.R.G. Meanwhile, Ando and Hiro are led to India by Matt’s prophetic pictures, only to have a mysterious ally come to the rescue.
Continuing the path of surprising events, the Heroes find themselves on the run from former ally Nathan Petrelli, their most recent antagonist. After painting a sequence of prophetic pictures, Matt discovers the upsetting fate of someone dear to him. While on the hunt for his father, Sylar meets a young misfit with some info and a power of his own.
